If you have a problem with a Slingshot product, the first port of call should be your Slingshot dealer. Our dealers are an integral part of our warranty procedure. Not only for your or our convenience, but the way U.K. consumer law is based (on contract law), your sale contract is with the dealer.
He may well already be aware of issues that might have arisen to cause problems dealt with by the warranty. We are here at Surf Sales, to back him up, and are in turn supported by Slingshots International Warranty system.
With the exception of the bladder, any failure of the kite, board or control system by reason of defective manufacture is guaranteed by a return to shop policy and replace or repair free of charge.
The dealer will inspect the problem, and very often is in a position to give a decision on the spot on our behalf. If there is some doubt, or it is a new issue that we may not already be aware of, the item may need to be returned here for inspection, to do this, we need a goods return form and number, to avoid the product becoming delayed in our system.
We deal with tens of thousands of items, and are a relatively small company. We have no wish to deprive you of time on the water, so please help us to help you, by using the system.
Sending goods direct to us, without first checking with a dealer, will very likely result in them being overlooked and possibly lost. Help us to keep as efficient as possible with your claim - use the Dealer and the system - its there to help you.
